Did Auburn's freshman running back Mike Dyer have more rushing yards this season than Mark Ingram? Editor's note: Mike Dyer rushed for 950 yards in 13 games for an average of 73.1 yards per game. Mark Ingram rushed for 816 yards in 10 game for an average of 81.6 yards per game. Both runners were extremely close in yards per carry, going for 5.9 and 5.6 yards, respectively, per attempt.

Yards per game is a pretty irrelevant stat. Just thrown in there to make it not sound so bad for Ingram.

Dyer leads in Total Yards and Yards Per Carry.

Auburn not relevant

Auburn is not even relevant anymore. Auburn only has one national championship. Alabama has 13 real national championships and Auburn only has a half. When Auburn wins 13, then give me a call. Auburn has also lost two of the last three Iron Bowls.

Bama fans not relevant

Is there anything more irrelevant than a crybaby rival fan who won't even talk about his own team anymore. I haven't heard the first thing about who Bama is playing in a bowl game. Heck, I'm not so sure there's even an Alabama team since Nov. 26. It's just crying and crying and crying. The few I have heard only try to talk about Bama's billions of national title claims. Hey Bama, nobody cares about your national title claims, half of which have been confirmed to be bogus. People only care about Auburn's present, including you.

These things are a waste of space, but on days like today, I'm bored enough to willingly waste my time on crap like that.

Speaking of this kind of petty bickering, and Alabama's New Years day bowl...

Remember Finebaum guffawing about Auburn playing on New Year's Day at 9am?

Remember the belittling derived from the fact that our game would be lost in the shuffle of the tons of other New Year's day bowls? Remember how it was particularly amusing to him that it was that early in the morning on a day that everyone in the country would be sleeping off their hangovers until about the time the game ends?

Someone needs to remind him of that now. I'm sure he wouldn't mind pointing it out again, since he's the definition of a band-wagoner, and thus has been pretty complimentary of Auburn these days.

I know it shouldn't get to me, but it does when a damn cock sucking bammer claims Auburn only has a half a National Championship, yet claims theirs a "full, real 13".  Forget the ones like '41 and such...but hey bammers...in '73 and '78 y'all won split poll NCs AND in each of those years you lost head to head to the team you split the polls with.

Do these cock sucking pieces of shit even factor in facts when ranting about Auburn?

Then there's the morons like Shane from Centerpoint that claim stuff like that, and throw in the incredibly weak sauce of "Auburn actually has no NCs, the 1957 Championship was won by API, not Auburn."  Then if he's confronted with facts, he calls his adversary "gay" and doesn't have a clue how fucking redneck and stupid it makes him sound doing it.
