T-Shirts
« on: December 10, 2010, 11:59:32 AM »
A couple of people have emailed me on the price of the T-shirts and them being pricey.  Let me explain a couple of things.

First I don't set the price of the shirts, if I manufactured them myself then I would set the prices accordingly.   I know they are bit on the expensive side, but I have no control over that.  Not that its anyone's business but I put a whopping $2 markup on the NC Shirt. BTW it took me probably close to 10 hours to put that shirt together (not all at once).

There are cheaper shirt sites out there, however I have tried most of them out, and this is the only one that allows me to be able to create the shirts I want.  A lot of them limit putting custom graphics on front and back.  Plus the shirt quality is good.

I believe the most I have on any shirt is $3.00.   The Coleman shirts were obviously marked up $10 but all that money went directly to the fund.  I am currently talking with a local guy, he makes the Ocean Slayer shirts advertised on the front page, who would make the shirts for us. However seeing as this is a just for fun and not my real job, I haven't had the time to get him all the designs and work on the logistics.  All I am really trying to do is re-coup some website costs, help get our name out there, and create shirts people laugh at.

Meh, Tell them to work an hour of OT to pay for it.  I don't find them to be that expensive.

I don't have a problem with the prices of your shirts.  I have the one of Aubie pissing on saban, and I get several comments on it each time I wear it.

Where can I find youth jerseys?

I think this whole issue is my fault. The new Duck Hunt shirt was posted over on the auburneagle.com site. There were like three or four dudes bitching about the cost but otherwise loved the design. It was explained these shirts came from TigerX but merely there for members and not a mass production type scenario. I pm'd GF with the owner of that sites email if perhaps there are discounts available if there were large orders made rather than on an individual basis. At this point, fuck it. If they want one, buy one; otherwise I could care less. My bad GF.

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

i've got zero problem paying 23 dollars for a t-shirt, especially one that isn't seen on every joe and jane walking in teh starbucks.

i think you have to expect to pay more for "original" shirts...there is time involved in setting up shit to produce small quantities.  it's not like these are being made by the millions.  don't get me wrong...GF...i hope you sell a million for the work you do on the X.

You meet a man on the Oregon Trail. He tells you his name is Terry. You laugh and tell him: "That's a girl's name!" Terry shoots you. You have died of dissin' Terry.

GF's T-Shirts design= Knob Creek

Wal-Marts T-Shirts design= George Dickel

You have to pay for small batch quality. In the end, it is worth every extra penny.
