Eagle to fly at BCS National Championship gameWritten by thewareaglereaderFootball, SportsDec 9, 2010He'll work.If Auburn fans were looking for a good omen for their matchup with Oregon, this might be it: an eagle will fly before the game at the BCS Championship game on January 10.It won’t be Nova, it won’t be Spirit… but an eagle nonetheless.According to today’s Tennessean, Challenger, the first eagle in history to a make a stadium free flight (and the first to share a forest with Patriotic Dolly Parton) outfit, will fly at the Fiesta Bowl on January 1 before returning for repeat performance the BCS National Championship game.(We’re assuming whoever planned the event wasn’t expecting a school that does the exact same thing before each home game to be playing.)The bald eagle has made appearances on The Today Show, Good Morning America, The Late Show with David Letterman, Dateline NBC, Larry King Live, Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures and Live with Regis and Kelly. He’s also getting some practice in at tonight’s Tennessee Titan’s game.No word on whether Oregon will demand equal time and drop Roboduck from a plane.
I like the idea but I don't understand why our own eagle can take care of this for us.
I like it. Eagles can never be bad for us.
We don't do this at away games or bowl games. It just so happens they were training this eagle to do this, even if it wasn't Auburn playing in the NC. Pure coincidence.
Because everyone would pass out trying to hold that Warrrrrrrrrrrr.... while the Eagle flew back to the Jordan Hare 50 yd line looking for his meat product.
