This is not necessarily true.  There was a time when we were among the nation's best in football (Dye years) a regular NCAA tourney team in basketball (Sonny Smith) and making the World Series in baseball (Hal Baird). 

Jay Jacobs is the worst AD in the SEC.  He needs to be FIRED and FIRED today.

Yeah, I remember I think that Auburn was in the top 5 in athletic programs just a couple of years ago. We made the sweet 16, super regionals, and had a good football team. We were ranked in the top programs in the nation by sports illustrated just a couple of years ago.
