One of the saddest thing to me this week is that we have not been able to fully enjoy the meltdown of the Bama nation after LSU took them out of the MNC race.  Hell, we haven't even gotten to hear it on Birmingham radio much less the internets.

I was talking to my dad after the game this weekend and he said Sunday would be a "Skip out morning".  Asked why, he said, "When Auburn wins and Bama loses, you skip out to get the paper..smile a lot and wave at all the neighbors". 

My dad looks like Bob from the Enzyte commercials on those days.

Saban has had to repeat himself to his team often this season, because his message has not been getting results. The message is about results. He believes his team has focused too much on results and not enough on improving as individuals and as a team.

Coach BeLittle's message hasn't gotten the desired results that he wanted, because the team is focused on results too much...(so the team is focused on getting the desired results for their coach too much....gotcha)

That's what happens when you try to talk over everyone's head, eventually they'll stop listening to you, especially if you're winning.

I'm actually fairly disappointed in them. I was really looking for the "I want these to fuck me up so bad I won't remember any of this" effect, but I guess my knee hurts so much, it's just sorta killing the pain. I tried Crown with them one night and thought I was literally going to die.

Wrong mixture.  I personally recommend a touch of the grape.  For me, when my shoulder gets bad, it's two Vicodin and ONE SMALL GLASS of syrah.  Since you are a bammer, substitute "Gallo in a jug" for syrah but you get the picture.  Not sure why that works better than straight likker, but it does.

Seriously, I know how it feels to hurt so bad nothing can touch it.  About eight hours after my first abdominal surgery, I got nauseated from the morphine and threw up - with fresh sutures holding my stomach together.  I cried for nearly a half hour before they loaded my IV up with something awesome and then I don't remember the rest of the day... here's hoping it eases up soon for you.

Thanks. I go to physical therapy for the first time post-op tomorrow, so I'm loading up on pills before I go. Something tells me I'm gonna be sore. This is the first surgery I have ever had, and it sucks. Feels like a firecracker went off inside my knee.

Here's a PT hint - don't block the pain prior to PT - you need to test your limits and you might overdo if you cannot tell where those limits are.  Take one to take the edge off, and then light it up AFTER you finish PT.  You do NOT want to test that repair to the extreme just yet.
