Hotel Question
« on: November 07, 2010, 06:03:47 PM »
I stayed at the Laquinta Inn and Suites on East Blvd exit 6 in Montgomery this weekend for the Auburn Game.  We got there Friday night got up Sat morning left our 2 dogs in room and came back around 530 Saturday evening after the game.  Dogs were fine and the hotel wasn't that bad.  It's not a brand new joint but you could tell it was a little dated, but my only complaint was the TV needed to be replaced.  The price for 2 nights was $128 including tax.  My question is have any of you ever stayed there? Other question was I think I was the only white person staying there?  Any comments or suggestions for next time I come up.

I think LaQuinta loosely translates to "behind Waffle House".

"Hey my friends are the ones that wanted to eat at that shitty hole in the wall that only served bread and wine.  What kind of brick and mud business model is that.  Stick to the cart if that's all you're going to serve.  Then that dude came in with like 12 other people, and some of them weren't even wearing shoes, and the restaurant sat them right across from us. It was gross, and they were all stinky and dirty.  Then dude starts talking about eating his body and drinking his blood...I almost lost it.  That's the last supper I'll ever have there, and I hope he dies a horrible death."

You're better off with exit 7.

A national championship is a wonderful thing, but if you're not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it.

Don't hate on the TravelLodge.

They have the finest floor that Lance LaParty has ever humped.

You can keep a wooden stake in your trunk
On the off-chance that the fairy tales ain't bunk
And Imma keep a bottle of that funk
To get motel parking lot, balcony crunk.

If you're going to go for a budget hotel in Montgomery you've got to go with the Drury Inn off of Eastern Blvd.  Free booze at night and big, clean rooms.  I stayed in a suite there for $119/night, but that was about a year ago.
