Scarbinksy on Jox now, decrying some of these hacks, like Bianchi by name, but also saying the same thing...the damage is done no matter what comes out.  Even says that Auburn knew about this last summer, and to have played him that Auburn must have had a high degree of confidence that Newton was clean, family was clean, and Auburn was clean.  But, the damage is done, and a lot of it irreversible no matter what is proved or not.  Gotta remember, you can't prove a negative.  What some will say if they can't prove anything: "Auburn bought Newton, they just couldn't find the money trail to prove it."

To be clear, as of Thursday evening, neither Auburn, nor Newton nor his family has been publicly accused of any wrongdoing. Anything to the contrary is assumption or innuendo, and Newton is not being withheld from competition.

"I will say this very loud and clear," Auburn coach Gene Chizik said Thursday night. "Cam Newton is eligible at Auburn University. Period. End of story."

I didn't really know what else to do, I was just pissed. Anyway, what was cool is Jacobs responded back to me.
