I Am Done with AUNation

It has officially been taken out of my bookmarks and I don't plan on going back.

I've never liked David Ward at all, but I kept posting there because I liked the rest of the posters (with the exception of Ranger and WarTiger...who I both dislike for different reasons.) Anyways, like I said, I kept posting there IN SPITE of dkw and his posse...because the regular posters were knowledgeable and cool.

However, David seems to be going more and more insane, and people whom I thought were level headed like Titan, etc seem to have blinders on and are sticking up for him for no real reason. That place is in a slow spiral downward and I'm jumping ship.

I'm glad that you guys tried to stand up for the site and change the direction it was headed, but in the long run, Jen is right. AUNation is all they have in their lives and they weren't going to let it go. I feel bad for you guys who lost your money and got screwed over by the all knowing David Ward.

I see great potential in this site, and I hope it takes off like we know it can. I think we will see a tremendous increase in traffic once football season starts. I'm looking forward to it.

Also, unfortunately my posting here will be limited to nights and weekends due to work. I love the layout of this site and that language, pictures, etc are allowed without worry...however, due to the fact that I work in a public school system, I can't really have this site logged as one that I visit regularly from the school. Not too mention its probably blocked by the firewall anyways.

Anyways, the volume of my posts here will probably start to increase a good bit as we get closer and closer to football season. Especially in the summer...which is one of the reasons I love working in the classroom!

I understand the limitations you will have in posting going forward. You shouldn't risk your job over a message board.

I agree with you that we'll start getting more and more traffic as we get closer to football season. I expect it to pick up once fall practice rolls around and we actually have real football to talk.

I know there are a couple of other posters here who share your sentiments regarding AUN, and I expect them to chime in any minute now. I hold no ill will toward their site or any of their posters. I'm way over that. The way I see it, we're the Pepsi to their Coke. We're the choice of a new generation. I'm also well aware that this site isn't for everyone. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks and all.

Anyway, we're glad you're making TigersX your e-home (or is it i-home?).

Coke is better than Pepsi, so I would argue that TigersX is Coke to AUN's Diet RC Cola.
