Since this is your first year playing I must remind you of the great equalizer.  you will get a chance to pick the bowl games and rank them in order as well.  given there are 30+ bowl games you can make up a  lot of room at the end.  I actually came back from about 50 points down a couple years ago due to a good bowl season.
