TUSCALOOSA, AL (WBRC) - A former Alabama Crimson Tide football player has been arrested.

Officials in Tuscaloosa say D.J. Hall was picked up Wednesday night around 9:00 p.m. at a hotel in Tuscaloosa.

Hall was booked on 2 drug related charges, according to authorities. A second person was arrested as well.

Jail records indicate that Hall posted bail last night.

Hall played for the tide from 2004 to 2007.

He's never made it in the NFL, I guess the Ft. Walton, FL native was just in Tuscaloosa visiting, and happened to have drugs in his motel room.  No reason to think that he'd be involved in selling drugs is there?
