The new owner at AUFamily would not ban anyone, and is more tolerant, but he would ask you to remove it because there is a "no pimping" other sites without his permission. Mainly because he has did something very smart with that site...he is using it to make money with advertising, so he watches out for those trying to get some free advertising. He might be a socialist liberal that I debate with all the time, but he apparently likes to make money. I honestly thought things were going to go from bad to worse when he bought the site, but I have had to eat some crow. If I know I could do it, I would include this site also in my sig over there.
I don't post on any forums but this one and AUFamily, but I when I do talk to new AU fans that I meet, I actually tell them about both sites. One is family friendly and one is more "hardcore". Some people can handle both, some prefer one type of site over the other...to each his own. I will try to drop the name of "X" more on Facebook.
Speaking of Facebook, one of the ways that the new owner of AUF has increased traffic at the site is his creation of a Facebook page for the site. It was very smart, because if a member mentions Auburn anywhere in their profile, eventually that site is going to be suggested to them. I have friends that I have told about AUF before but never joined actually then join because the Facebook page put right there front and center for them. Then when they "like" the site, their friends see that on their profile and if they are an AU fan, odds are they are going to "like" it also. Just an idea to think about for this site.
