• The Tiger defense held toe Warhawks to just 38 rushing yards on 33 attempts.  The longest rush for ULM on the day was nine yards.
• For the season, Fairley has 22 total tackles (12 solos) with an SEC-leading 11.5 for losses (-46 yards), including an SEC-best five sacks (-30 yards).

Five weeks in, having a SEC award every single week (and two one week), is pretty damn awesome. Two of our players already repeating in that time span is pretty incredible as well.

War Fairley.  Lemonier is coming on strong with each game and he seems to be getting more and more PT.  That may have been because AC didn't play Saturday but Lemonier looked like he was explosive and constantly in the backfield.  He's also got meat hooks hanging off his shoulders.  Can you magine this guy by his junior and senior years at about 255?

I've been noticing Lemonier too. This guy is coming on strong. What the heck, this whole D is coming together strong. I know some will disagree about the secondary, rightfully so, but I have see improvement in them as well.

The scouting rpt on Lemonier on signing day was that he had extremely long arms and big hands. And that this would give him a great advantage playing DE at the next level. Looks like that scouting rpt was right.
