The Home News Tribune of East Brunswick reported Monday that police said Giraldo suffered a drug overdose. New Brunswick police Lt. J.T. Miller on Tuesday told The Associated Press he would not disclose the circumstances. Miller said officers found Giraldo in his room at the Hyatt New Brunswick on Saturday night. Miller said officers performed CPR and the comic was resuscitated. Giraldo was taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, which would not release his condition. The telephone number listed for his management company was disconnected. His booking agent's office said they were not commenting.
