Dim Jobs Picture Forces Out Another Obama-bot
« on: August 12, 2010, 05:39:54 PM »
I may have been wrong in my prediction last month about the next Obama-bot to leave The ONE's foundering and water-logged Ship of State.  (See "Budget Blues and Economic Storm Clouds"   http://www.tigersx.com/forum/the_sga/budget_blues_and_economic_storm_clouds_9797.0.html  )

I don't think that it's a coincidence that The ONE's top Economic Adviser, Madame Christina Romer, High Priestess of the Cult of John Maynard Keynes, announced that she's leaving the administration just days before the gloomy jobs report came out today.  The Architect, Karl Rove, spoke about this on Monday but you may recall that she was The ONE's adviser who proudly and vehemently exclaimed that the unemployment rate would NOT exceed 8 percent if stimulus was passed rammed-through Congress (see also references in the articles below).  It should be noted that today's unemployment rate is 9.5 percent (it has been higher than that since 'stimulus' and this is the 15th consecutive month that it's been over 9 percent since 'stimulus').

It is interesting to add to this news that Fox Business was speculating that a larger house-cleaning was coming.  (They were referring to The ONE's administration but I think it applies more to Congress this coming Fall!)

Of course this latest jobs report during the 'Summer of Recovery' (for FedGov employees and the FedGov Motors UAW only) has had the desired effect by The ONE of sending the DJIA back into the red for the um-teenth time this year (and for the year) as of close of business today.  The ONE is an economic genius.  :heavy sarcasm:

Wait...I forgot.  It's all Bush's fault.

If he is as smart as he likes to think he is, then he will.  Make no mistake, I don't care what the detractors say, Dick Morris saved Clinton along with a good conservative congress that forced his hand.

I think Obama is controlled by a stronger, more hell bent group of folks than Clinton was (Soros, Emmanuel, etc). Clinton didnt really have much choice but to move to the middle. It all depends on how many seats the GOP takes this Nov and if it will be enough to force his hand.

I don't see him moving to the middle, no matter how many seats the GOP or Conservatives can pick up.  He is arrogant, and a know it all.......hence is why I said "If he is as smart as he thinks he is".
