This may the single most important guy in this entire class right now. Across the D-Line, AU has some decent players, in my opinion, but certainly no dominant players. Inside, Blanc and Fairley look to be the starters with Fairley showing occasional flashes. The corches keep talking about the ability he has but how they have to push and push to make him play consistently at a high level. The ends are experienced in Carter and Goggans. A. Carter had a killer Spring game and I hope that carries over and he's ready to finally be a threat off the end. Behind them are Dee Ford and Nosa Egua...so no real experiance there.
Whitaker is 6'3" and 310 as a freshman and coming in with great credentials. Love his attitude if that article is any indication. I rarely expect much from a true freshman at this level but I'm hoping for this guy to be the disruptive beast in the middle we've been missing for a long time.
