PRICHARD, Ala. -- Two men, including a 17-year-old, were arrested about 10 a.m. today after a man was followed to a Prichard gas station early this morning and carjacked, Prichard police said.The victim was not injured.Demarcus Demetrius Henry, 19, of Prichard was charged with first-degree robbery and was in Mobile County Metro Jail without bail. The 17-year-old was taken to Strickland Youth Center and charged with receiving stolen property, spokeswoman Latoya veal said. According to Veal, the victim pulled his 2004 Dodge Intrepid into the Exxon station on Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue in Prichard about 1:20 a.m. when an older Lincoln occupied by three men followed him into the station. Veal said that when one man told the victim air was leaking from one of his tires, the victim got out and was confronted by one of the occupants of the Lincoln who had a shotgun. Another occupant of the Lincoln jumped into the Intrepid and drove off.About 10 a.m., a Prichard police officer spotted the Intrepid in a field behind an apartment near Whitley Elementary School in Prichard, Veal said. When the officer noticed the Lincoln parked nearby, he confronted Henry and the juvenile, and he found the keys to the Intrepid in their possession, she said.Both were taken into custody, and a third man is still being sought.
